Welcome to Chalet Domino. We love it and hope you will too.
We are Nick, Kirsti and Frankie, the family Hodson. Chalet Domino is our mountain home that we have owned since 2011. Frankie was born in the same year and spent the first year of her life in the Chalet. Since then, we have used the Chalet for holidays and weekends and in 2016, we decided to rent the Chalet out for selected weeks in the year. The Chalet is named after one of Kirsti’s favourite horses.
Kirsti was an advanced three-day-event rider, and won many competitions at the National level with Domino. Domino sadly died in 2016 and we decided to name the Chalet in his memory. There is a painting of Domino in the Dining Room.
Nick and Kirsti both were born and grew up in the North of England and speak English and some French.
The Chalet is our family home and we offer it as such. It’s ideal for families looking to experience the Alps in a “home-from-home” environment.
